Our Research

Since this project is for our English class we wrote papers and researched about animal over population/spay and neuter, and animal abuse/ their recovery. We feel so strongly about these topics and really hope that you decide to donate and help the animals at the Noth Central Animal Shelter.

Every year in the United States about 2.7 million companion animals are euthanized, most of which are cats and dogs. (Pet Statistics.) We can change this problem if every pet owner spays and neuters their animal. There are many reasons for animal overpopulation. One of which is that many people are not aware of the responsibilities they will have to take on with owning a pet, so they relinquish the animal. You need to spread the word about spaying and neutering, and if you have or know anybody who has an unaltered animal please make them aware of the consequences for their actions. -Josie Arm Argument about animals over population

Many people in different parts of the world and different social classes participate in animal cruelty. There are many different types of animal abuse some people don’t realise they are promoting. As well there are some psychological and other reasons for people participating in animal cruelty.
